That bodacious blogging court reporter, Todd Olivas, has just unveiled his free Deadline and Filing Calculator. I tested it today, and it looks to be a brilliant tool. Its main advantage over the Date Calculation Page is that it tells you if the resulting date falls on a weekend or a holiday. No more sending out that docket entry, and then . . . d’oh! That’s Labor Day!

As with any date calculation tool, you should always use a backup method. Outlook’s date calculation feature is a good one.
