MS Word tip: Change the case of your text without re-typing

You really can capitalize — or de-capitalize — blocks of text at once with MS Word. Simply select the desired text and click Format, Change case. A small popup window will offer radio-button selections for Sentence case, lower case, UPPERCASE, Title Case, and tOGGLE cASE — that last choice being simply the opposite of whatever the current capitalization is. Click the button that matches what you want and then click OK. (Title case still needs work, Mr. Gates: It doesn’t know to leave words like “a,” “and,” and “the” in lower case.)
